Under the direction of Maestro Leslie Dala (Assistant Conductor of the Vancouver Opera and Music Director of the Vancouver Bach Choir) VAMSO performs some of the most beloved masterpieces from the symphonic repertoire over the course of three separate concerts held at the Orpheum Theatre throughout the school year. VAMSO rehearses on Fridays two and a half hours weekly in an intensive environment. Incorporating up to eight faculty members as coaches, it is a training orchestra that aims to create a balance between excellence and enjoyment.
