Professional Studies Program: Artist Diploma

The Professional Studies Program is a special post-baccalaureate course of study which addresses the needs of those individuals who have earned a Bachelor of Music Degree and who are preparing for a performance career. In this program, emphasis is placed on private lessons, practice, ensemble participation, and preparation for professional auditions. Applicants for the Professional Studies Program are subject to the same admission requirements as applicants for the Bachelor of Music Program, but students must demonstrate an extraordinary level of performance skills. Candidates for the Artist Diploma are expected to complete at least two years in residence, during which time course work will include private study, ensemble participation, and presentation of two full solo recitals.
