Recitals: Third and Fourth year MPD/B.Mus. students and all Artist Diploma students give recitals

Practice Rooms: Visit the Front Desk to book a room and borrow a key.  Avoid practicing on weekdays between 3 pm and 6 pm and Saturdays before 2 pm, when VAM is full of teachers at work.

Lockers: A limited number of lockers are available for student use. Contact Thai Nguyen for more information ([email protected]).

Student Cards: Contact Thai Nguyen for more information ([email protected]).  (These cannot be use for cheap transit, sorry.)

Here2Talk – 24/7 Student Mental Health Counselling and Referral Service

Minister Melanie Mark has announced the launch of Here2Talk. All students currently registered in a B.C. post-secondary institution have access to free, confidential counselling and community referral service, conveniently available 24/7 via app, by phone (1-877-857-3397) and online at Here2Talk.ca.

Health Services: For emergencies, St. Paul’s Hospital is located at 1081 Burrard Street, Vancouver BC. Directions from VAM to the Hospital available HERE.

If you suspect an overdose, call 911 right away and follow SAVE ME protocol while waiting for first responders.

Call 811 from anywhere in British Columbia to speak with a nurse about non-emergency health matters any time of the day or night.
